As some people know this year, Baguio would be celebrating its Centennial Year Anniversary. All year round the city would be full of activities. The first was on January 1, there was a series of simultaneous fireworks display in four different locations in the city, and if you were watching in the right place you would sed be awed by all of it (like me lols).
This February, Baguio would be celebrating its annual Flower Festival or the Panagbenga (the season of the blooming flowers). This year's festival would be one of the longest, if not the longest of all the festivals that preceded it. There would be tons of parades, fireworks, parties, contests, food, booze, concerts and the closing of Session Road for one week to welcome the Market.
Baguio's most famous road would be decked with tons of stalls for: food, clothes, henna tatoos, body paints, gardens and everything else! You would'nt get tired going up and down that road. And...they close during midnight or later.
Its something to anticipate after the holidays, and the fact that it's our centennial
makes it more exciting!! I can't help but to wonder at what they have in store for us this year. Tons of people come to the festival. Even now that the holidays are done the hotels again slowly being filled by tourists. Our Centennial birthday would be on September 1. And we all know what's also up on September right?
Of course, the Arashi tenth year anniversary!!
XD but I'm forgetting myself here.. I am inviting everyone for our Flower Festival. (Yes, i'm promoting XDD) I swear it's going to be fun! Also, if you can, please, come to our Centennial celebration.
THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE AWESOME !!!
